Celebrating our Members even when their success means it's time to leave the nest.

One of the most rewarding perks of owning a space like WorkLodge is that not only am I able to celebrate successes with my team, but we also enjoy the privilege of celebrating when our Members succeed too!

It’s inspiring to hear stories of how our members overcome different challenges and transform their businesses taking things to new heights. We love to pour into our members through simple things like a hallway “high five,” or through our more intricate coaching and mentoring sessions.

We love cheering on our members as they grow, but there are times when their success brings them to need additional resources or services we simply aren’t built for.

Recently, this happened with Kendra, who'd been with us since late 2015 with her Essential Oils and Wellness business. As she needed to house massage facilities, the decision was made to move on.

After leaving, I received an email with some thoughts she shared that might be helpful to others trying to understand why we speak so much about Connecting into the Community of WorkLodge and the value of our amazing environment.

Our hope is to always leave our members better off than when they arrived, and although we hate to see them go, we are excited about the ripple effect that their hard work and go-getter attitudes will make across the globe.

Here's what she had to say…

__________________________________________________

WorkLodge was an amazing place of transition for my business. Prior to moving into WorkLodge I was running my wellness coaching business out of my home. We live on rural roads with no high speed internet making it very difficult to get my work done in a timely manner. At the end of 2015 I knew it was time to make a major decision to find office space.

As soon as I walked in the door and saw the big orange slide I was intrigued! I found myself in the office at the corner of Tokyo Dr. and London Rd. where I decided my business was going to change for the better! As a small businesswoman, I had never signed for office space. I was quite nervous, but my husband encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and just do it!

WorkLodge provided me with the opportunity to grow and gave me the confidence to expand my business. I am so thankful to Mike [and his team] for their encouragement, support, and positive outlook on “work”. I have moved on, but will always be grateful for the experience I had there. It was a vital part of my journey that has brought my business to a new level of success!

Abundant blessings,

Kendra A. Murrell, M.Ed.
