Gabriel Week - What's it All About and Why Does it Matter so Much?

If you've been around WorkLodge recently, you've no doubt heard about Gabriel Week. It's the culmination of our core mission.

"Changing Lives." It may sound like a vague directive driven by positivity, but at WorkLodge, it is our DNA. It is our heart as a business to truly change the lives of others wherever possible. Sometimes it's through large initiatives, but most of the time it's through daily interactions we have with our Members, Partners, and Friends.

We know we can't do this 100% of the time, but we also know we can do this more than 1% of the time. This is why we work so hard to find creative ways a company can make a difference, even a smaller company like ours.

Giving Takes Many Forms

Yes, sometimes it means giving money. But it also means donating our custom made furniture to other non-profits, helping people affected by catastrophic events, and building orphanages to name just a few things we do. Perhaps the real magic is found in how we invest in the day-to-day lives of our Members. We help them grow their businesses and connect with each other to find the support, encouragement and help they need when they need it. Whatever "giving back" means, we're absolutely passionate about never standing still and always pushing for more.

For almost 2 years, I've had the dream of being able to do more, communicate better, and bring our partnerships closer than ever before. Today I'm beyond excited to announce the culmination of our efforts. We're calling it 'Gabriel Week'.

In the 3rd week of November, we're going to be showcasing all the things we do through our Gabriel Project, while taking the next step in our evolution. Why? Because we believe no business is too small to do something amazing.

A Life-Changing Gabriel Week Opportunity

We've always been about partnering with others to do something bigger. Our goal has always been to lead by example, delivering truly transformational moments in the lives of those we help. To kick things off, we're announcing something huge today. We'll be giving away office space worth up to $20,000 to a local non-profit during this year's Gabriel Week. We want to support the cause of this non-profit so they can enjoy enjoy the freedom to focus on their meaningful work in our environment that's built to help others grow.
